How great it is to watch up to 150 different bird species in the Val de Durance and some chamois on the Lure crest! You can also find a great variety of flowers: you can discover about ten species of orchids from February, as well as many wild aromatic plants such as fennel, service trees, thyme...
With fertile plains, arid plateaux, green hills, unexpected torrents, this area is a place of constrats combining a Provençal atmosphere and the invigorating influence of the mountain.

However, open-air activities are the strong point of our region!
The low population density, the great variety of natural sites and our climate naturally predestine us for open-air activities.
Some sites and routes are developed and maintained to facilitate these activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, pony trekking, motocross biking, climbing of equiped rocks, several free access sport paths, country archery path, orienteering course and raid, fishing, hunting.
